rap contests what happened to them!?

did they all fall off the planet ive been on youtube a long time and there so hard to find unless you were apart of the ride with the host its hard to know when there happening. im hosting some on my website so stay on the lookout in fact ive made a few but there was a time you could just find them on youtube and someone would have a contest up. now its more battle rap and open collabs if you search those up for rap you might find some you just barley missed. so what happened to rap contests? did we just have a age group that got older and needed to pay bills or is something waiting for when it should return again. Do i just not have the right app or did it just turn into beat making contests? whatever it is feel free to post rap contests in this article if you like. ones you find or host yourself. promotion of rap contests is sometimes forgotten. maybe the stress to promote them made them die off just like rap. maybe its hard like becoming famous and the makers realized they could be getting famous in the things they want to do. or maybe there still around and still serve there purpose for those who wait long enough to find them. the care to do that is hiphop.
