how important is album cover and mixtape cover art in rap music today 2026-2027

album cover or mixtape artwork is what tells or what we will remember a album by after all the songs are done. or its what we see at first and makes us give it a chance. its important to know it can just be a picture or a graphic designer or artist might make you some cool album cover art. ive used photoshop and gimp to create alot of the graphics i have but its cool when i finally get a album cover or mixtape cover done. its what we see while we wait for release date. its what fans can share while they wait for release date. one day i hope to see these rap covers like netflix and just be able to play them from mainstream to artist just starting out.
