What is a freestyle in rap? A freestyle is the approach of rapping without writing first. So how do you freestyle or rap without writing anything? If you can vibe to the beat it’s probably easier to rap sentences on the spot. Sentences that weren’t written and spoken in a form that rhymes still rhyme is freestyling. If you’re freestyling here’s my tips. Just rap slowly and don’t worry about much other then rhyming when you can.
