Did rap die or what did rap stop using?

Did rap die or what did rap stop using? so do raps still use blogs for finding music or is it for a artist to post news or updates on there feelings? or did it change? is it now both? did we lose the original grasp of how things were used in the beginning of hiphop/rap? or is it about knowing rap history and rappers now have knowledge of it or could spit knowledge? the advances in rap were made for this or can just be used for it now. what was the original inspiration of rappers? for me in the beggining i was rapping to prove i was able to rap to form something i like from it. I was mainly doing this for myself. i enjoy making music im just asking what did rap stop using? Do you miss the things its no longer using and did the stop of it being used kill rap? does the death of rap mean bad rap or people are no longer rapping?
